Manufacturing process of monolithic refractories
Monolithic refractories are manufactured by mixing various raw materials and binder(s) instead of molding or burning such materials.
The monolithic refractory is sprayed by the Gun Master (a hot gunning robot) on the inner surface of EAF as a material to repair the worn furnace body or applied to a tundish (TD: vessel used in continuous casting, to receive molten metal from a ladle and pour the metal into each strand) to protect the equipment from the molten metal.
